Damage from backstab is way to much random at moment. It is the most
important skill that thiefs has.
I can bs a sidhe and get him to somewhat but next bs doesnt hurt him
at all almost.
Maybe raise the chance of getting double, triple stab and psychotic?
I have all stab skills train to 103% or more,
but im getting single backstab quiet often still. Fatal strike could
need a tune up also. Should atleast be as good as the instant ya get
from throw knife.
Nuff from me

Nods silly fatal strike should add damage overall, not just that
instant kill opportunity, which seems to work only on monsters 80k
and less. Fatal strike would seems quite obsolote at higher levels
witht that restriction of monster level it kills because you allways
kill bigger?

Bards does plenty of good things, but with todays tunes there are no
room for bards in eq parties, as everyone prefer to take in a good
blaster then a bard. Bard are party guild, not ment for solo. I
think bard need a facelift to be able to be a rival with the
blasters in eq parties.

Jus' my two cents.

Tell that to erec and his 1-shotting 50k mobs
and supercool songs that kick everyones
stats/regens/skills/resses through the room. :)
That was when he was bard anyway, I think he's gone woodsman now.
I think bards may just be one of those things you need
larger worth to do well.

-pedron maxxed juggler and trained none of the throwing skills yet. :)

From me being bard I know it's not for the smaller worth, myself
being almost 200mil I was able to train all the songs to 90+ which
was fine with me. After a few parties I got throw knife which
allowed me to actually do damage, even though it was low. For a
bard to be able to do damage with knife throwing I think erec put
like 100-200mil in juggler? Not quite sure, he'll have to post but
it takes worth.
Bard isn't meant to be a solo guild, no matter how hard you want it to be. :P
There are plenty of exp parties who will take on a bard. I
personally think bards make eq parties rock by boosting everyone to
do better, but sometimes it is better to have another blaster. It
all depends on the tank.
Anyway, my ramblings about bein a bardy bard
