For non-americans, our congress (lawmaking body) has shifted from
republican control (bush's party)
to democratic control (clinton's party). this means no more "rubber
stamp" for bush administration policy,
a condition that had caused an enormous amount of consternation in
the majority of folks (49% > 48%) in our own country
and around the world.

tonight i sat down and cried a lot and stuff, and my mom listened,
and part of what i said was that i'm starting to forgive my father
and it makes me mad that i don't have an avatar to asert all my
hatred on anymore.
somehow the conversation shifted to how she used to beat the shit
out my brother and i far more than my dad did, and for much less
important stuff.
she also told me she was sorry for it.
we ended our very long conversation with a discussion of which guys
are cute, and why her lust for keanu reeves means that i'm gonna
have to have my goons (the brothers i've made fear me over the
years) beat her up until she realizes she was wrong.
i'm just praising her for being awesome, and making me feel less
like shit while making sure i understand that being an asshole is a
hereditary trait that i've obtained from both sides.

For trying to address the long-standing balance issues. I think over the long-term most people enjoy the mud more in parties. If nothing else, parties should be able to achieve more than individuals (and more quickly). That's how life works, peopleachieve more together.
I'm glad the wizzies have taken this on. There's a couple other ways to favor party playing. Bumping up mob resists and abj guild would make abj's better. Bumping up enreg would make healers/spell-blasters more effective.
If I'm allowed a critique in a praise post... It seems like newbie parties have been penalized. I remember getting together with 3 or 4 others to tackle goblins and citizens once upon a time. Later, we'd gather to do ogres or paladins. Those are not especially large mobs, but were good parties at the time. Additionally, there's only a handful of areas that the larger folks can't solo. (If good xps are only obtainable in 4 areas, that's a recipe for boring). It's fine to adjust xp curves, but that may end up as an incomplete fix. Fundamentally some guilds are out of tune, and may need to be addressed by tuning the guilds.
I hope wizards continue to work on this and players support their efforts!

I have alot of people to praise in this post, so let's get started.
First and foremost I want to praise the great team of wizards
and other poeple that we have that keeps the mud up and running
and have made all of the areas and other stuff. Special thanks
to the person who wrote the descs in trolls, an area wich most
people just run straight through without looking once, you should,
the descs are really well written. (Esp. good an acid, could almost
see the room, part due to the acid, part due to it beeing extremly
well written.) More good descs for the people!
Secondly I would like to thank my wonderfull clan, you're all great
guys and you have helped me out alot, esp. Darkfox, whom I would
have liked anyway, thatnks for beeing who you are all of you.
Then I would like to thank everyone who has exped or eqed me even
tho I'm not the best evoker out there. You got me some good stuff
and got me to the 2nd place of top weekly, beaten only by our
great clan abj, Maxy.

Praise to the Firefox add-on Stylish, I know have darker backgrounds
and custome (pre-made by other people) templates for sites like
google, gmail, youtube, etc that override the web page settings for
background, font color, etc
It's pretty neat, and getting rid of pure white backgrounds
supposedly reduces eye strain
Also windowblinds lets you do the same thing on xp/vista, change the
colors and such for all windows. me likey
