Attn: Yes, the year 2000 Mudcon is now being talked about. Once
again Darkstaff is wanting to host a mudcon.
The last one was a great success. I havent worked on the details as
of yet, but we are looking at
sometime in August. I will post more as I get things rolling. We
are hoping for even a larger turn out than the last one. Its a
great way to meet all these crazy people and in some cases, drink
them under the table ;)

If Javier goes, I gotta go. Even though I have not been active
as a player here, I still value the friends that I have made
greatly. The Evansville mudcon ruled, and I wish I could have
made it to DS's place, but work would not let me. Damn work!

what dates would be best for people to be able to make it.
So far, I understand that late July into early Aug. is the best time.

I'm looking to host the con on the final week of May, the
dates being 26-28.5. If you want to arrive early, that will
most likely be possible. This date is by far the strongest
candidate, but changes can still occur so don't rely on it ;)

This brings me back to setting up the con.
I have only gotten mail from a couple people on feedback of when the
dates should be
As of now, it is late july into early august.
Please, if you plan to attend, mail me back telling me wether or not
this date is good for you, and if it isnt please suggest a date that
would suit you better
the final date will be set so that the largest number of ppl can attend.

1) who cares about snow? Ive only ever seen it once anyways, so if
there wasnt any snow during any time of the year there, id not miss
it.

Great :P Hey sorry but you're not gonna have girls there this time

damn, I'm so bugged that I feel like skipping my graduation here and
just flying home on 25th when school ends.. But, of course I can't

Jumping into frozen lakes rules (never done it though), but the sad
thing is that
there won't be any frozen lakes here in the end of May ;)
And if I calculate correctly, it won't cost anything for me to go to FinCon,
while it'd cost at least $1000 to go to Denver. :P

Yay the date has been verified and the con will be
held on the weekend mentioned before: 26-28.5.
If you are intrested, start mailing me. I can help
with finding out flight/train prices, and of course
providing more info about the con itself. (Durin and
Koma, you don't need to mail, I know you're coming
even if I didn't want you there ;)
Now that we've gotten rid of the nasty winter as well,
it presents more options on what to do:
-Tennis
-Basketball
-KänniSähly (Whee!)
-Swimming in a non-frozen lake (Now you don't need to
wrestle with the rocks to keep warm Durin)
-Even more sauna!
-Various outdoor games and sports including drinking,
drinking and drinking.

FinCon '00 will now be held on the second weekend of
June, namely from the 9th of June onwards. This
presents us with a few nice added features:

Umm... we've encountered little difficulties concerning the aforementioned,
earth-shattering event called FinCon'00... Sadly I'm going to have to
inform all parties that the FinCon'00 is now officially cancelled.
We're terribly sorry about this incident, but matters have gone out
of our hands and the local police is after us, so we thought it
would be a better idea to call the whole thing off before any
further problems arise...
