You're both right. The difference is context. I have seen this kind
of 'typo' report quite a few times so I feel I should inform those
of you that are confused about it how each spelling is used.
Centre:
This is used when describing something as the main section, or main
hub if you will. Ie: the brain is the centre of the bodies nervous
system
Center:
This is used to describe where something is physically located. Ie:
Central Square is in the center of Red Dragon City.
