As I understand it, the thing is praised by those melee types out there as being very nice while it lasts, etc - because of specials and the like. All I can say is that as druid and now necro, that the mask hasn't shown itself to do anything but give spr...although I haven't tested to see exactly how much. Never once saw a special from it while blasting in the form of spam. Hard to say if there's been any hidden bump to my dmg but certainly nothing that was so noticeable that I could feel it.
