To that end, they decreed that the stone door to the lowest levels of Mt. Nevermind be opened! TheGreatDoorOpeningCeremonyof3273 was held over several weeks time, and was considered a great success. The loss of life to the guard detail provided to the Committee members for the ribbon-cutting, after several days of studies and reviews, was deemed acceptable.
