| with easter just past i had an idea. dying can be a painful experience. there is magic in the game that can make you alive again. all you lose for this is some of your knowledge (from 30% from experienced high priest to a ton via lucifer shipping&cargo) Idea - after becoming alive again you need rest before you can fully function normally again. maybe you are affected by a "suck" event or all skills/spells have -30% (depending on the xp lost % maybe) for a certain time. or you forget spells/skills for a bit
at the moemnt you die, get a rev and carry on like nothing happened.

| Don't see any reason why to make deaths more painful as long as there is no way to avoid it. Far too many mobs and places that have bursty damage or insta death specials. And i really don't feel like going over "fixing" the entire mud to make deaths more painful. Easier to just leave it as is, have deaths be common but fairly easy on the player. |
