so here's what i'm trying to do.
Dragon, by Daneel's own statements over the years, is not supposed
to be an exp form. I am inclined to agree. It's a hard to tune form
that's best left for doing eq which is much easier to tune it for.
Therefore, I have gone back to some of the older DL numbers that had
the form pretty good and rate tuned.
Now, avian forms, which are meant to be THE solo form, are obviously
not really up to snuff for soloing a decent rate in a solo form.
Frankly, they're well under wat they should be.
Therefore, I am going to try to over the course of the next week or
two, try to find ways to improve avian to be a decent exp soloing
class. Now, obviously, DLs are used to exping against good-sized
mobs for exp. Avian is going to require you to find something more
reasonable that gives good exp. That is going to be something you
will have to strive for, because I am not going to make dragon forms
an exp class again if you whine a lot and quit. If you want to
ragequit SS, be my guest.
I've also uptuned wolf packs a bit. with the lower playerbase, it
seems unfair to make packs require so many people. it's not a huge
uptune, you'll still need a number of wolves... but you'll need less
to make a bigger impact.
I have also uptuned bear forms a little, in that they now handle
taking damage a bit better. I'll probably continue to improve them,
because as I'm sure everyone knows, they're actually pretty pitiful
as tanks.
Tiger, for now, I have left alone. I may well visit tiger later, but
if i do, my goal wll be to make sure tiger is a party class, and
that it's not unfairly soloing stupid rates, since it obviously hits
a lot better than eagle. Tiger is meant to be a hitter, and I'd like
to encourage it to stay that way.
