Okay, so I found out how to do those annoying adds on the side of facebook. They cost a little money but would be worth it to get an add out there.. maybe.

So I was just wondering if we wanted to do this, I'll have Korth make the final move of course, think it could work? lets hear some feedback!

I personally use facebook quite often, and I think that a banner ad
on the side might not be a bad investment.

I don't think it could hurt.
FYI I'm not an admin or anybody for making choices for the mud :p
I do appreciate the consideration, and I don't think the extra
bandwidth would be an issue, I honestly don't think it would be a
lot of new traffic.
New players is good though, so whatever works.

It may or may not be. If you can find a way to target people who have more of the "computer" type personality, you may find it a more worthy investment than a generalized ad.

Be careful about using the keyword mudding, btw...I was amazed to
discover the number of people in Northern Maine who enjoyed MUDding,
before I discovered that Mudding was a term to describe driving a
four wheel drive vehicle across a muddy field...
