| ok, since there has been alot of talk about wsb vs attack and necro
lacking one or the other, I think it'd be best to open up an open
forum discussion about weapon skills vs attack.
personally I view the topic as somewhat similiar to attack being
able to the will to fight, the will to kill, and knowing
when/where/how to strike, whereas, weapon skill is more or less
being able to hold a weapon properly, being able to swing/jab it,
and just in general being able to use it effectively.
A prime example of this could be traced back to people using simple
swords. many untrained people will attempt to use them as a blunt
object, completely ignoring the fact that it's actually a blade and
shears much better than it hacks.
However, going deeper than that, even if you're completely trained
in swordsmanship, that doesn't mean you'll be effective in a fight.
Take the nerds for example. They can often be seen with many swords
and may know how to handle them, however, in a fight, they lack the
will to actually do any harm whatsoever, making their attacks weak
and completely ineffective.
